English is my third language…I had a terrible accent inferiority complex.My mother tongue is Sraiki.In college and uni we used to speak Urdu. My literature degree introduced me to English.But…it was just reading. No speaking. When I jumped into freelancing, I felt it.I felt that I couldn’t speak a full min in flow.Words gliding. Voice shattering. Breath trembling.That’s where I took it seriously. I ate, drank, walked, slept in English.(I’m not kidding, neither exaggerating) English Vlogs, TedX Talk on YT.English Movies, doc on Netflix.English Books on reading list.I’d imagine myself talking to my fav speaker in English.Whenever I’d be planning something, I’d THINK in English. I got better.But I still feel I’m non-native.And that is a NOO PROBLEM. AT. ALL. Know thisLanguage is JUST a way of communicating your emotions and message.If you can do this, it's enough.PS.
